Now I love video games but I know very little about game design. However the talented genius that is Arin Hansen also known internet wide as Egoraptor does. In fact his insight on the mechanics behind gaming is astounding. He's also hilarious, a kind of blunt and crude style of humour mixed with his stylish flash animations make his flash videos some of the most viewed and talked about videos online. He's also a noted voice actor lending his vocal talents to multiple projects over the years.
Egoraptor has been making flash videos online for around 7 years now. He got his big break on Newgrounds with his Awesome series videos, the marquee piece being Metal Gear Awesome. over the years he's made multiple flash videos and has evolved his animation style and sketch comedy to an art form.
But recently he's been focusing his talents on game design. In the latest season of the reality Television show 'The Tester' which is a show giving the chance to a group of budding game designers at a chance to work for Sony, Thanks to his immense internet following Ego was voted onto the show by fans. The man is clearly a fucking genius. He knows his stuff and is obviously super passionate about video games. It actually seems like a waste of talent to have him make silly internet flash videos instead of applying his knowledge and insight to improve the somewhat stagnating art of video games. One of these days he'll land a big time job developing a major game and we won't be able to get internet gems like this....
