Goodbye 2011... Hello End of Days

Well 2011 has come and gone in a flurry of... Death, Protests, Natural Disasters and a ridiculous amount of Movie sequels. Many Important things happened like the fall of the Libyan Dictator Gaddafi, The Death of Kim Jong Il, The Seal 6 Capture of Osama Bin Laden, The Asian Earthquake and Tsunami, The Occupy Wall Street Campaign, The London Riots, The Death of Steve Jobs, The Charlie Sheen public Breakdown, A Royal Wedding, The Finale of the Harry Potter series (Film) and the release of Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. (Skyrim is a big deal dammit!)

Now with this whole end of days for told by the Mayan Calendar, 2012 is really going to have to step it up to beat out 2011. I mean the Death of Osama Bin Laden is a pretty damn big historical Book mark if you ask me... And the whole situation surrounding his demise is shady at best. I mean come on, as if you expect us to believe that they actually found him and killed him immediately is just utter bullshit to me. Plus the idea that they honoured his religion and had a sea burial is just absurd to say the least. If anything his fucking body belongs in some kind of Museum.

Anyway....

Here's to 2011

This is what I'm looking forward to in 2012:

The Dark Knight Rises:

Christopher Nolan is a genius, his films are amazing and he's somehow made Batman the hottest and most talked about Movie Franchise on the planet. He made Batman movies cool again! I seriously thought that was a lost cause after what Joel Schumacher did to the franchise. How will it stack up to the Dark Knight? Which of course thanks to Heath Ledger who gave the performance of a lifetime in a role that literally killed him, a lot of expectation is left on the third movie to close out this epic ride.

The Last Guardian:

Now if you haven't played ICO or Shadow of the Colossus then you probably won't get the massive nerd boners people are popping over the Third Game from Team ICO called The Last Guardian. Shadow of the Colossus is considered by most one of the most devastatingly beautiful video games of all time. This game was announced 3 Years ago at E3 and is supposedly getting a late 2012 release. I honestly can't wait to play this game.

Community Returning:

I love Community, If you're a nerd you should love it too... I hope it returns sooner rather than later. I do want to see the Evil Universe vs. Prime Universe in this year's Paintball Finale. Yeah, I'm calling that for the Season and maybe even series finale.

Venture Bros Returning:

From the Ladle to the Gravy was a nice little Rockumentary they made to ease the long wait in between Season 4 and 5. Jacket is a sweet song too.

I'd definetly say it's the coolest show that has ever been on the Cartoon Network Adult Swim block, Venture Bros is just Awesome. I grew up watching a lot of Hanna Barbera cartoons and the whole little universe based around mocking those Cartoons is just delightfully wonderful and nostalgic to me. The Season 4 finale was superb and I can admit that I got a little choked up with General Treadster's ending.

The United States Presidential Election:
He whole shitstorm leading up to the Election will be a glorious mud slinging campaign furled by resentment and lies. It'll be Great to watch. Even though the outcome of the election wouldn't really affect me in any way, I do hold out hope that Obama gets re-elected. The Dude is really fucking cool.

(I don't care if fake, it's still awesome)

The Next Google Thing:
I honestly wonder what is up Google's sleeve this year. They released their Android phone systems last year, I'm expecting either a digital music distribution service and player to rival iTunes or even a OS (Operating System).... Most likely the Music one, but Google is doing their hardest to take over the damn World.

Anderson Silva vs. Chael Sonnan:

A Loser leaves Town Match... Oh Wow... Although to be fair even though Anderson Silva is considered the Best Pound for Pound fighter in the World. Chael Sonnen was the closest person that has come to beat Silva in Years in their last match. Silva was in some serious trouble the entire time until he slipped on a Triangle Choke and stole in the victory, had it gone to the score cards Sonnen would've come out on top. But I guess you got to give credit to Silva for pulling out that victory in the last round.

This should be a very interesting rematch to say the least.

That'll do for now.
