It's a Knockout

I only got into the world of Professional Mixed Martial Arts last year, which is strange because I've been a fan of Martial Arts in general since I was a damn kid. I watched numerous documentaries and shows based around it. I loved Human Weapon and Fight Science and just seeing programs that showed the different forms and techniques used across the World. The Art of Human combat is absolutely fascinating to me.

This rap hurts more than a Roundhouse kick to the Balls

Thanks to the UFC I can now see multiple fighting styles with a big arena fight feel. It's like watching a Prize Boxing fight but with more pamper and showmanship, it all seems like a legit sport rather then some backalley operation. I never got into the idea of watching two men in a Boxing Ring but there is something really awesome about watching two men choke each other out in a Cage.

Either way I love the new Opening video the UFC have made to initiate their PPV broadcasts. touching up classic UFC moments with beautiful sound and visual effects. It just gets you pumped up for another good old fashion cage fight.

People can write it off as some glorified barbaric blood bath or just watching two men dance around each other until they get to the ground where they hug it out until someone gets the other in a choke hold. But you do get to see some truly amazing things in the Ring and you come to know and respect some of the fighters.

The infamous Showtime Kick, A thing of beauty

The Funny thing is, even though that kick happened in 2010 Benson Henderson (The recipient of that kick) is currently the UFC Lightweight Champion and Anthony Showtime is still in the lower cards fighting for a chance for that same belt. It's amazing to see the ups and downs in the MMA industry.
